For the past few years, our church has done VBS (Vacation Bible School) a little differently.  Typically when one hears VBS, they think of a morning schedule where parents drop off their kids for a whole week, during the summer, to learn about Jesus in a fun way.  Although, we still learn about Jesus in a fun way, the thing that makes what we do different is that our VBS includes the entire family and it is in the evening.

Pastor Aimee Hernando introduced Family VBS to Hope Chapel with the desire to see families grow closer to each other and grow closer to God as a family.

Due to the previous years’ success and many families asking to repeat the tradition, we planned, prayed and prepared for another year of our families coming together for a week-long VBS.

Continuing with the tradition, this year’s Family VBS was so much fun!  We had 16 families represented as we worshipped, learned God’s Word and played games together.

THANK YOU to all the volunteers who sacrificed their evenings and for all the families who committed to dedicating a whole week for their families!
