Girls Ministries is a nation wide Assemblies of God program where girls learn together about faith, the church, and the world. Girls Ministries provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage the girls to be spiritual leaders. Awards Night and July Break
Hope Chapel’s Girls Ministries and Royal Rangers will be hosting their annual awards ceremony on June 25th at 5:00 pm in the church sanctuary. The whole church family is invited to attend and help us honor all the hard work our kids have put into earning their merit badges and other accomplishments in these ministries. Refreshments will be served afterwards. The awards ceremony will be the last time the Girls Ministries and Royal Rangers meet until August. There will be no Sunday evening classes during the month of July.
Ages: 3-5 Curriculum: Noah’s Ark provides an exciting theme for the Bible stories, crafts, full-color activity pages, and games for this preschool club. Rainbows add colorful animal badges to their vests as they complete requirements for the achievement program. Rainbows meet every Sunday at 5p-6:30p.m. Visit the national Rainbows Club website.
Ages:Kindergarten Curriculum: Darcy, Diana, and Dorie (paper dolls) help Daisies make life applications from the Bible stories and principles they learn. Daisies earn colorful badges depicting these club characters as they complete requirements for the achievement program. Visit the national Daisies Club website.
Ages: 1st and 2nd grade Curriculum: Megan, Carmen, Kim, and Tonya guide Prims through life-application stories as the girls learn biblical principles. The Discovery Box stores lesson-related objects to be displayed during lesson time to make learning even more fun. Ages: 3rd through 5th grade Curriculum: Girls make their way up the Stairway of the Stars achievement program as they complete units in the four worlds: The World of Truth (basic Christian doctrine), The World Around You (missions), The World About You (activities), and The World Within You (character development). Memorization, projects, and Bible reading are all a part of completing the achievement program as an Honor Star. Visit the national Stars Club website.
Ages: 6th through 8th grade Curriculum: Friends Club provides discussion-oriented lessons to continue the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring young girls. Topics of study include the sanctity of life, accountability, commitment to Christ, life-controlling problems, purity, and choices. Visit the national Friends Club Website.
Ages: High School Girls Curriculum: Girls Only Club gives girls a place to grow in God. Discussion-oriented units include women in ministry, college and career, truth, dating, pro-life vs. pro-choice, and attitude. Visit the national Girls Only Club website.
